Fitful Weather

I remember that day very well when this photo was taken. My friend mirko and myself  arrived in westerhever after a ~ 2 hours drive from hamburg. Our plan was to capture the beautiful landscape of the salt meadows and anything else it has to offer. When we arrived there it started to heavily rain and we found shelter in some local snack stand car. We ordered something to eat and waited for the rain to end. The weather finally changed and presented some sensational cloud structures. Even the sun started to come trough and offered some spectacular reflections in the tideland. In this image we have two strong leading lines to the structure visible in the horizon. This helps to empathize the perspective and lead the viewer into the horizon. The tracks in the mud are traces from biologists that have been recently there. They used handcarts to transport their equipment from the lighthouse nearby. Enjoy the view and stay dry ;)
