This image shows the biggest living room in the “Mercado Negro”. There you can use the free internet access and drink your coffee that can be bought from the cafe on the other side of the hallway. On this shot I have overexposed the image to get all the interior detail. This also helps to remove the distracting area outside the building. I really like to have very strong contrast situations and try to push it even more when using black & white film. The camera was sitting on a tripod and I used a timer to run into position on the left window.For this shot I re-arranged some of the chairs and put the coffee mug in the foreground.
